Armet Tactical

What is an Armet? The Armet is a type of combat helmet which was developed in the 15th century. It was extensively used in Italy, France, England, the Low Countries and Spain. It was distinguished by being the first helmet of its era to completely enclose the head while being compact and light enough to move with the wearer.

It is also the name of the street that our founder lived on when he made the decision to become and entrepreneur and run his own business when he retired from active Marine Corps service!

Founded in December 2018 as Armet Technologies, LLC, our mission was to provide Federal and Local Government customers with cost-effective equipment and consumables procurement. Armet Technologies attained its’ Department of Veteran’s Affairs Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Certification in May 2019. The COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 nearly wiped out the Small Business opportunities in the Federal and Local government sectors.

In November 2020, our Founder, Brian Carmichael, obtained a Federal Firearms License and a National Firearms Act Special Occupational Tax (NFA SOT) and transformed the focus of our business. Now doing business as Armet Tactical, we have experienced tremendous growth with further expansion on the horizon!
